Organization and Situation

Variant 1: You have your own horse

Prerequisite: You have your own horse for this alpine season at Pferdealp Muntatsch. It is therefore integrated into the herd.

Variant 2: You do not have your own horse

You will meet my horses on the first day, one of which will show up as your partner horse.

During the 7 days of the “Out into the Wild” experience we ride and hike with our horse over alps, over passes, through high moors, rivers and wild landscapes. In the process, your inner nature will be nourished and your senses enlivened.

There will be moments in which we will melt into space and time, glide along, and then be together in pure tranquility. And share our experiences around the fire, observing and integrating the herd.

I open the space for you to nurture your destiny, to dream it into life. This is my destiny and my gift to you.

“Tga Tartaruga” – Alp Flix

Our base

Here you will arrive and be accommodated in a twin room. We cook and eat together. There are 3 vegetarian meals per day, the food is chosen mindfully.

Horse Alp Muntatsch and alpine pastures of the Alp Flix

“Your” horse lives during the summer time on the horse alp Muntatsch and on the alpine pastures of the alp Flix. When you arrive the trail horses are on the alp Flix.

The horse alp Muntatsch is reachable from the alp Flix on foot and by horse, maybe we visit it.

Horse gear

We ride without snaffles. Mostly with halters with which you can lead and ride, and which have proven their robustness on trail rides.

The saddles are made to measure for each horse and its unique spring trigon suspension ensures the well-being of the horse’s back, the human buttocks and the freedom of movement of the couple. They have been developed by Alfons Cotti since 2016 and tested and refined during all our rides.

Dates

The “Out into the Wild” dates always start Sunday evening at 18h30 with dinner together and a visit to the horse herd from about 20 h to 21h30.

On Saturday around 16h/17h we say goodbye.

Procedure

Here is a time frame for rough orientation. Basically, we go with what is. The weather determines the route.

If you want you are welcome to stay until Sunday. Cost 50 CHF

Possible directions: Rhaetian Alps (Val Faller/Septimer/Lunghin/Forcellina/Radons/Alp d’Err…) – Engadin – Val Susauna – Keschhütte – and, and, and

Prerequisite

You ride safely in all gaits
You have a good physical condition that you have to walk uphill with your horse from time to time.
Total weight: You and your luggage max. 90 kg, for the welfare of our horses (you can rent a packhorse)

Ankle-high hiking/trekking shoes with profile sole
Sunscreen SPF 50/insect repellent/sun hat
Warm clothing incl. hat and gloves
Rain protection for upper body and legs
If you need any medicines, make sure to bring

Costs

For 3-4 participants 1’800 CHF each

With 2 participants each 2’400 CHF

if you want to travel exclusively with me you pay 4’400 CHF

if you need a packhorse: 400 CHF

Included:

7 – day trail ride with Sieglinde (I have been leading this type of ride for 8 years)
“Your” horse with its trail riding equipment
board and lodging for your horse
6 nights in a comfortable tent, or simple lodging, depending on the place and weather
3 meals a day, starting with dinner on the first day (intolerances and eating habits will be taken into account)

Payment terms/options

Variant 1:

One-time payment due by March 31, 2023 for early booking: Price -10%.

Variant 2:

Down payment due upon registration as commitment: 400 CHF

Balance due by 31 May 2023 for date 1, by 31 July 2023 for date 2

Option 3:

Down payment due upon enrollment as a commitment: 400 CHF

monthly installments:

Balance plus 1 x 50 CHF in 4 installments: End of April, May, June and July 2023.

Conditions:

The deposit of 400 CHF is non-refundable in case of cancellation.

Cancellation Policy:

Full refund will be given up to 30 days prior to the start of the trip. Less than 30 days before the start of the trip, the amount will not be refunded, but can be transferred to another person. Deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred to another offer if space is available.
